Theme Day: Break Out 2017

The Theme day for the CFCI Bangalore community was held on 17th September 2017, at Snehadaan, Bangalore. It was a day’s event where the theme of the year, ‘Break Out’ was unveiled. It was attended by the community couples and some singles.

The day began with the Eucharistic celebration, by Fr. Johnson. After mass, the CFCI Bangalore band led us into a time of praise and worship. This was an amazing way to start the day! Continue reading

Break Out 2017

The Couples for Christ India-Singles attended their annual National Singles Conference, held at the St. Joseph Vaz Spiritual Renewal Centre, Old Goa from the 18th to the 20th of August 2017. The event saw a large turnout with around 240 delegates hailing from far and wide, crossing borders and rivers to get to Goa. We had our brothers and sisters from Assam, Gurgaon, Pune, Mumbai, North and South Bangalore, Margao, Caranzalem, Porvorim, and a new area this year, Mangalore. Campus Ministry at Mount Carmel College

Christian institutions today make it compulsory for their students to attend a retreat at the beginning of every academic year. Just like last year, the campus ministry of CFCI Singles, Bangalore reached out to many institutions to conduct weekend retreats. God in His abundant mercy, and love for His beloved children, opened doors in not one, but several well-known colleges.

We kicked off our campus ministry for the year 2017 with a retreat at Mount Carmel, PU College, in Vasanthnangar. Around 430 students attended the two-day weekend retreat at their college auditorium on the 23rd and 24th of June, 2017. Continue reading

The Newest Kids on the Block!

The Christian Life Seminar (CLS) of the Porvorim Chapter came to a halt on the 22nd of June 2017 with the covenant ceremony, welcoming the new batch of participants to the CFCI family. It was held during the Chapter meeting along with the Couples as is the tradition, at Holy Family Church Hall. Continue reading
