A ‘Priest Conference‘ on the theme of LIVE CHRIST SHARE CHRIST (LCSC) – which dwelt on evangelization and re-evangelization of families in order to empower them to become agents of evangelization, was held by the initiative of the Archbishop of Patna, CFCI and CFCFFL along with CCBI Family Commission at Patna at the Navjyoti retreat centre on 26th February which commenced at 4 pm and ended on 28th February with lunch.
The programme was attended by 80 priests which included priests from the dioceses of Hazaribagh, Betia, Kunti, Purnia, Raigarh, Jashpur, Patna, Bhagalpur, Buxar, and Asansol. Continue reading
The Kid’s Village was held in Bangalore for three days from 23rd to 25th February 2018, where around 80 children from Chennai, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Mangalore and Bangalore of age group between 3.5 to 12 years attended it. The children were divided into groups known as “tribes”, where they had an elder brother/sister to take care of them and act as a leader/role model for the next three days. The Couples for Christ India organised the Young Couples Conference 2018 (YCC) from 23rd February to 25th February, 2018, at the National Biblical Catechetical & Liturgical Centre (NBCLC) in Bangalore. The Conference was themed “GOD’S KNOT – A threefold cord is not quickly broken”, and revolved around the role of a husband and wife in a marriage, and the importance of God’s presence in making a marriage happy and joyful. After waiting for an entire year, the CFCI Youth were blessed to participate in the Regional Youth Conference (RYC) 2017 which was held from the 27th to 29th October, 2017. And though it was a 3 day conference, for us participants those 3 days went by so quickly that it seemed like just a couple of hours. Yes, it was that fun!
This year’s Regional Youth Conference was special in more ways than one. Firstly, it was held at Hotel Orion, in Porvorim. While we all missed King’s School in Margao where the past RYC’s have been held nobody complained about the comfortable beds and air conditioned rooms we were accommodated in. Continue reading
