Mercy

The sins we recklessly commit
The exploited body that we shamefully submit
The flawless lying without a second thought
And the constant fear of getting caught

Even when our soft tongues pierce people’s heart
And it lacerates the soul like a sharpened dart
Still God’s eternal mercy prevails
And His word never fails

It’s never too late to lay prostrate at His feet
And beg for forgiveness
For it is the start of a new life and happiness.
Mercy overflows in God’s heart like innumerable fountains
After attaining it, you can move a million mountains
