Silent Dialogue

God
Gaze upon me while I gaze upon you;
While our eyes meet let our hearts do so.
May every thought and word be subject to this Holy silence;
Were you to depart, may there still be My presence.

Let Me caress your gentle soul
And whisper to you things yet unknown.
Let your mind, heart and body be Mine;
To be raised up with Me to glory divine.

Fear not tender heart;
For I shall never from you depart.
But hold you closely to My breast;
Where you will surely find your rest.

Me
And so I rest in You my love;
Until Your bountiful kingdom has come.
Until to ashes my body does return;
In the furnace of Your love may my soul forever burn.

And on that glorious day when Iā€™m face to face with You;
Let me lead another soul back to You.
That heaven may rejoice and the earth even more;
For one that was lost is back once more.

About Amulya Rodrigues

Amulya Rodrigues is a full time pastoral worker for Love Life and Family, Public Charitable Trust. Like a true Mangalorean she loves to eat pork. However her love for the Father God exceeds that. Known for her short and sweet nature, she enjoys finding silliness in the most dullest of places. Her academics has an equally interesting twist, having done her BA in English, Psychology, Criminology, she went on to do her masters in Multimedia and subsequently worked for Manipal Global before becoming a full timer. Her joy lies in knowing her Father God as you may catch her saying ‘I am my father’s daughter’ with a huge grin.
