Studying the Bible as the word of God
The main purpose of reading the word of God is namely, to have eternal life. In the Gospel according to St. John, Jesus, the eternal Word of the Father, says,
“I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance” (John 10:10).
St. Ignatius of Loyola says,
“Study in order to save souls.”
Our main purpose of studying the bible is not to simply master it but to follow it closely and to serve it whole heartedly. Continue reading

Some look at movie stars, others find them in sportsmen, while some others, among people we interact with. I considered myself to be an extremely cool girl. My definition of cool may however surprise you. I loved to swear just in an attempt to fit into my friend circle. This was the theme for a one day Singles program, at Udupi on 17th September 2015.
Named as GAME PLAN, the program sought to introduce the CFCI Singles way of life to the participants. The service team consisted of Singles from Bangalore and Mangalore. There were 50 participants in the program, all hailing from Udupi and around. Continue reading
