It was way past midnight and my duty seemed never ending. I had already admitted a few patients, been to the operation theatre three times and had tended to numerous accident victims. Just when I decided that I needed some fresh air, the ambulance brought two young boys on stretchers into the casualty ward.
They had been involved in a head-on collision on the highway and my worst fears were confirmed immediately. They were brought dead to the hospital. Continue reading

This was the theme for a one day Singles program, at Udupi on 17th September 2015.
Named as GAME PLAN, the program sought to introduce the CFCI Singles way of life to the participants. The service team consisted of Singles from Bangalore and Mangalore. There were 50 participants in the program, all hailing from Udupi and around. Continue reading
The Family day in Mangalore was held on 17th September 2015. The program was held in the evening, 4pm onwards, for the first time in Mangalore, promptimg it to be informally known as Family Evening.
The event began with the Eucharistic celebration at Our lady of miracles church, milagres celebrated by the bishop of Mangalore, Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul Dsouza. The bishop in his address acknowledged the work done by CFCI and wished success in reaching out to more families in the coming year. Continue reading
The Kids Village 2015 “Born to Praise” was held on the 17th of September, 2015, at Don Bosco, Panaji, Goa. It was organized by Couples for Christ India (CFCI). It was a fun-filled, one-day program with prayer, activities and workshops meant for children between the age group of 4 to 12 years. There were a total of 220 kids at the Village. Members from CFCI-Couples, CFCI-Singles and CFCI-Youth served at the Kids Village. Continue reading
