‘The Lord your God is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory’ – Zephaniah 3:17
We are in a daily battle with the devil. And often we end up losing by falling into various sins.
So also, the daily battles of our jobs, families and relationships often leave us feeling hopeless and helpless.
It’s helpful in our battles to remember God’s track record.
David went against Goliath, not because he was feeling particularly strong that day but he knew that God was with him.
Let us stop relying on our own strength to try and win our life battles. Rather, let us remember that God is bigger than anything we will ever face.
As this season of Advent draws to a close, let us allow God to take control of our life battles.
“Afterall, our God never loses battles” – St. José Maria Escriva
