The Singles segment of the community is a unique one – the young adults are at an important crossroad in their lives. They are just freed from being under the care of their parents while at the same time not yet concerned with a family of their own. St.Paul says they ideally should be free from anxieties, but in today’s world the youth at this stage are fraught with many anxieties. Continue reading

Retreat @ Deogao

Couples for Christ India conducted a three days lenten retreat in Deogao parish church in Gumla Diocese in Jharkhand. The CLS was led by CFCI members from Rourkela and Jharkhand. The Deogao parishioners turned up in large numbers to experience the love and mercy of God. Continue reading

CLS @ Dulhapur

The Word of God in Luke 15:7 says that

there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God over ninety-nine.

In Dulhapur, Rourkela 64 couples who came from their worldly lives, experienced a bond with Jesus that words cannot describe. Couples for Christ India conducted yet another Lenten retreat, a three day CLS, in Rourkela diocese.

At the end of the CLS, the participants were reassured and renewed as they found peace in God which the world couldn’t give. Continue reading

CLS @ Rourkela

CFCI conducted a lenten retreat, a three day CLS for the parishioners of Salangahahal parish in Rourkela. As this retreat was open to everyone, people turned out in large numbers from nearby villages like Babaimahahan, Konmendra, Jaulkudtra and Darpani as well.

There was a powerful time of prayer and healing during adoration. The participants were emotionally moved and touched by God. This was a second lenten retreat organised by CFCI in Rourkela diocese in 2016. Continue reading
