CLS @ Pimpri

The CFCI-Pune service team had a hesitant start, as they were expecting just 2-3 participants, for the Pimpri CLS, a week prior to the programme. To the service team’s surprise, around 200 participants gathered for the CLS on that day. The parish priest encouraged his parishioners to come forward to attend the programme. Marriage Enrichment Retreat – Pune

The Marriage Enrichment Retreat (MER) was held at Loyola’s Retreat House, Pashan, Pune, from the 21st-23rd September 2018. The CFCI service team were in awe to see a full house, as there were 12 couples who attended the retreat, in spite of having other commitments, duties and responsibilities towards their children. Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy

Be merciful just as your Father is merciful. Luke 6:36

What draws us to the throne of God’s mercy? Scripture tells us, that many people were drawn to Jesus – the Apostles, Zacchaeus and other unwanted and unlovable people – the blind, the lame, lepers, tax collectors, prostitutes etc. The Pharisees and scribes too were drawn to Jesus, but for reasons other than His mercy. Ironically, these very people (like us too) were as much in need of God’s mercy, as the people they despised. Continue reading

Our life on earth is studded with relationships of various kinds – husband/wife; parent/sibling; sibling/sibling; man/relatives; man/friends; employer/employee; boss/subordinate; master/servant and so on – apart from which, we have acquaintances with whom we also have relationships of a more superficial kind.
