The Calm after the Storm

Whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance; and let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing. (James 1:2-4)

I always wanted to be a teacher. I don’t ever remember wanting to be anything else in life. Very rarely are we blessed enough to know our vocation early in life. After completing my B. Ed, I applied for a job in several schools, but everywhere I went, they turned me down. I began praying earnestly for a good job and finally cleared an interview for a temporary post of 6 months at a Government school. Little did I know, the raw, naive me, had stepped into the “BIG BAD WORLD” as they all call it. Continue reading
