In an envi¬ronment of prayer, learning, and Christian fellowship, over 30 couples from across Bangalore came together at St. Gaspar Retreat Centre, Kithaganur for a Marriage Enrichment Retreat (MER 1). The programme started on the morning of 2nd November 2019 and concluded the following evening. Across the two days, the couple-participants were presented with seven teachings, couple discussions after every talk, a unique Lord’s Day celebration and a special evening of quality time. Meanwhile, the kids had a wonderful time watching movies, playing games and doing other fun activities with the singles. Continue reading

was just the apt theme for Young Couples Conference 2019 which was wonderfully organized by CFCI Pune at the Papal Seminary. It began with a sensational Praise and Worship session that rose like incense to the altar of the Most High. The band Grace Afterglow rocked the stage with vibrant and energetic hymns that filled all the participants with great enthusiasm. Continue reading
Driving past beautiful vineyards, Bangalore CFCI members headed to Barnabite Vidyabhavan on 20th October for Theme Day 2019. With much excitement, they entered the venue only to behold a stunning miniature vineyard on stage! After a wonderful time of worship, the MCs introduced the theme for the year – “Abide” – along with the theme verse:
“I am the vine and you are the branches, he who abides in me and I in him shall bear much fruit for apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
They explained how this year’s theme would address the relationships between God our Father who is the Vinedresser, Jesus His Son our Saviour who is the Vine, and we His people who are the branches. Continue reading
