Driving past beautiful vineyards, Bangalore CFCI members headed to Barnabite Vidyabhavan on 20th October for Theme Day 2019. With much excitement, they entered the venue only to behold a stunning miniature vineyard on stage! After a wonderful time of worship, the MCs introduced the theme for the year – “Abide” – along with the theme verse:
“I am the vine and you are the branches, he who abides in me and I in him shall bear much fruit for apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
They explained how this year’s theme would address the relationships between God our Father who is the Vinedresser, Jesus His Son our Saviour who is the Vine, and we His people who are the branches. Continue reading
Going through the Christian life seminar over the past three months has been a life-changing journey for me. When I had just begun participating, I was burdened with the need to find a job and was struggling with strained relationships with my family. However, as I learnt about God’s love and came to understand His personal love for me, I was moved to build a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and wanted to strive to be a child of God. ‘BELOVED 2019’ – A young-couples conference for both CFCI and non-CFCI couples was organized on Sunday, 1 September 1, 2019, by CFCI Mangalore in association with The Diocesan Family Life Service Centre, Bajjodi at the Most Holy Redeemer Church, Golden Jubilee Hall in Mangalore.
