The full-time pastoral workers met once again this year, at Navjyoti Niketan, Patna, for a weekend retreat from 7th – 9th December 2018. It was an opportunity for the full-time pastoral workers from across the country to meet, interact and become one in mind, in order to take the work of Christ forward through CFCI. Coming from Assam, Bihar, Punjab, Goa, Jharkhand and West Bengal, there were a total of 32 full-time pastoral work participants and their spouses.
The program for couples included sessions on enriching their marriages where they got an opportunity to communicate and share with their spouses, which ultimately helped them come closer to each other and thus be one in the spirit in their service to God. The singles went through a program on ‘Christian Personal Relationship’, challenging them to live a true Christian life with the brethren within the community and outside.
Adding a cherry on the cake, was the presence of Fr George and Bro A.V. Jose, our country servant, who shared on the power of the Word of God and how they can put it to use in their daily life. Fr George went on to share on miracles, which took place by repeating verses from the Holy Bible. It was a fruitful time where they were filled with gusto and zeal to work with more enthusiasm in God’s vineyard. The participants thank God for such a beautiful opportunity and for the gift of Bro Elvis and team who made this retreat a meaningful one for them all.
