A long time ago, in the city of Nazareth,
Lived a gracious woman, humble in every breath;
Astonished by the voice of an angel,
With the very name Gabriel,
A message delivered to the mother of God on earth,
Humbly she bowed, at the call of Jesus’ birth;
Considering herself unworthy initially,
Later on, trusting in God humbly,
The son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ was born in a manger,
To Mary and Joseph, in pure virginity, provided by a family when they fled to Bethlehem in anxiety and danger.
Thus were we given a gift from God,
Acknowledging Mary as our Heavenly Mother, with a meek nod.
In times of sadness and lowliness,
When earthly beings fail to pour love that creates a ray of joy and happiness,
Turning sadness into smiles, being far away,
None can do it better than Her as she in our hearts lay;
Ascended into Heaven, we believe there she stays,
Not far away it is, but in our hearts we create.
A saying goes, “Since God couldn’t be everywhere,
He created a mother” who is never a foe, come what may!
May never hurt us whatsoever, but a woman she is, created by Him, tends to sin in one way or the other.
Whatsoever be the call,
Our heavenly mother will never hurt us at all.
My prayers reach Christ if I intercede through Her,
Owning a special place in my heart, I primarily pray to my Heavenly Mother.
In the present times of love losing its way,
She hugs me and says,
“I will be beside you no matter what!
You are my child, my very own, I have known you from the start!”
