In the world today we face a number of trials and are always in a dilemma to choose between what is right and wrong. We read in the Gospel of Mark, chapter five, about the man possessed with an evil spirit. He had been tormented for many years that he lived in the tombs and was chained and violent.
The evil one is working hard to create turmoil and dissention among mankind. Though man is helpless we have a God who is all powerful and just like the possessed man who prostrated in front of Jesus and humbled himself we too need to encounter Jesus in our lives.
Only when we meet Jesus, shall we be able to bring about a change in our lives and start to Live Christ and see Christ in others-beginning with our families and in our workplaces.
As the man pleaded with Jesus to stay with him so that he could know Him better, we need to share Christ and proclaim his glory and miracles that He has worked in our lives.
Do you think the evil one is happy when we proclaim and share Christ with others? No, never! He will try to make life miserable and use people who are close to us to torment and confuse us.
Let us ask the Lord to be our help and strong fortress against the evil one and let us not fear the people of this world. Let us move faster to evangelise and give Christ to our brothers and sisters.
