The more you give, the more you receive. That has truly come alive in our family and our personal lives, ever since we said YES to God’s call. We’ve seen God working marvelously in every area of our lives. Touching us, transforming us, blessing us to the extent that, we in turn could be a blessing to others. Jesus says in Luke 6:37-39:
“Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
It reminds me of the Dead Sea. If we cling to or hold on to God’s blessings, we become dead and stagnant. But the more we serve and allow God’s blessings to flow out to others, the more we are blessed and become a fresh life-giving stream of grace that is filled and over-flowing. This is our personal experience in serving God wherever we are called to serve, whether in CFCI, in the parish community or in the world at large.
