We were just getting over the hospitalization episodes of our daughter Hannah, 2 years old, in the month of August and our son Joshua, 4 years old, in the month of September. We were beginning to enjoy and make memories with our newborn Pete. Joshua’s school had just reopened after the Dussehra holidays and he returned home with a cough. It was the 9th of February, 2019. My wife Sharel, 4year old daughter Andrea, 3month old son Aiden and I set out to Mangalore at dawn. As we were driving at around 8.30am we found ourselves in a life-threatening situation. Our car was at a high speed on the Hassan highway with my wife driving. All of a sudden, she dozed off, probably due to the fatigue of the previous night with the baby. I too was exhausted after work.
