CLS & Covenant Day

Going through the Christian life seminar over the past three months has been a life-changing journey for me. When I had just begun participating, I was burdened with the need to find a job and was struggling with strained relationships with my family. However, as I learnt about God’s love and came to understand His personal love for me, I was moved to build a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and wanted to strive to be a child of God. My relationship grew with God and slowly but surely, my relationships at home improved too. Continue reading

Come Alive – 2019

I lived a fast-paced life and used to go from one party to another. Eating in all the fancy places and shopping was all that I cared about and soaked myself in. I remember once after many years I sat in the Church missing the Catechism days and observing the youth involved in church activities I envied them. Though always being on the move was fun, I didn’t have anyone to stop me when I did wrong. That’s when I received an invite to the CLS. Continue reading

A Christian Life Seminar (CLS) program was conducted in Hamirpur, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Rourkela, Orissa from May 14, 2019, to May 19, 2019, in Hindi. The CLS began with a prayer and the new couples and handmaids were addressed by the Parish Priest of Hamirpur. Continue reading

Anbu. Vazhvu. Kudumbam. | Tamil CLS

Anbu (Love). Vazhvu (Life). Kudumbam (Family)., a Tamil CLS was conducted in KR Nagar chapel in Choodasandra, Bangalore on Oct 28, 2018. The KR Nagar chapel is a sub-parish of Our Lady Sacred Heart Parish (OLSH) in Haralur Road, Bangalore where CFCI Bangalore has been very active for several years. The Parish priest and other priests of the Missionaries of Scared heart have always been very supportive and encouraging. Though we have conducted many English and Kannada retreats in this parish, it was the first time a Tamil retreat was organized, owing to the need of the parishioners. Continue reading
