The feast of the Nativity of Mary and the Sunday preceding Christmas are the two days in the year when the Church exhorts the faithful on the gospel reading of the genealogy of Jesus Christ taken from Matthew Chapter 1.
Year after year as the priest would read this gospel, I would sit wondering why the Church was crazy enough to choose such a reading with so many complicated names. Most of them were unheard of.

A Christian Life Seminar – All for Love – was organized by CFCI Bangalore for married couples from the 19th of May to the 21st of May, 2015. After a warm welcome, the ice was broken through a round of ‘Human Bingo’, organized by Biron and Andrea. On the following day, two sessions were held. Father heart of God was delivered by Gerard while his wife, Audrey testified to the same. Vinitha delivered ‘Work of the Cross‘ with a testimony by Gideon. The CFCI family in Mangalore came together on 19th April 2015, for a day of prayer and reflection led by our country servant Tito A.V. Jose. CFCI Couples, Singles and Youth from Mangalore and Kallianpur were in attendance as the day saw the appointment of the new District servant for Mangalore, Tito Gerald and Tita Jane Castelino.
