After a gap of two years, I made my comeback to the Lord’s vineyard in February this year as a full-time missionary. Many people around me still laugh about how the Lord led me in a very amusing way by either shutting down the companies I worked for, or employers would lose their business deals or not give the salary on time etc. It was all for God to freely have His way in me. The full-time pastoral workers met once again this year, at Navjyoti Niketan, Patna, for a weekend retreat from 7th-9th December 2018. It was an opportunity for the full-time pastoral workers from across the country to meet, interact and become one in mind, in order to take the work of Christ forward through CFCI. Coming from Assam, Bihar, Punjab, Goa, Jharkhand and West Bengal, there were a total of 32 full-time pastoral work participants and their spouses. Continue reading
I don’t know from where to start from but attending the ‘Full Timers Meet‘ was a challenge for me. It all started two weeks before the program, when a full timer, messaged me asking if I was interested to attend this program?
As a CFCI youth, I am excited for everything around me. Given the fact that this was a special full timers program, it made me even more excited but excitement didn’t remain long as I realized my exams and the program were clashing on the same dates. Continue reading
It’s been exactly a year now in the CFCI Singles movement. Someone who I have come to respect greatly in the community had said, “we all have ‘holiness’ in us, it just needs the occasional stirring“. Well I personally had some major stirring happen in me at the CFCI Singles conference last year. It was such an amazing experience after which I have tried my best not to miss out on any community event in which I can serve. So when I was invited to attend the Recollection Retreat at St. Joseph Vaz, Spiritual Renewal Centre, Old Goa, I was really excited. Continue reading
