The full-time pastoral workers met once again this year, at Navjyoti Niketan, Patna, for a weekend retreat from 7th-9th December 2018. It was an opportunity for the full-time pastoral workers from across the country to meet, interact and become one in mind, in order to take the work of Christ forward through CFCI. Coming from Assam, Bihar, Punjab, Goa, Jharkhand and West Bengal, there were a total of 32 full-time pastoral work participants and their spouses. Continue reading
The CFCI Udupi district meet was held on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the Bishop’s House, Udupi. Quite a large number of couples had gathered for this meet. Couples for Christ India, as a community will be consecrating ourselves to our Blessed Mother on 8th December 2018 on the feast of the Immaculate Conception.
The 33-day preparation for the consecration starts on 5th November 2018. The process of Total Consecration to Mary was introduced by Saint Louis de Montfort in the early part of the 18th century. He proposed to the faithful consecration to Jesus through Mary, as an effective way of living out their baptismal commitment. Continue reading
